Weaving 101 – Learn to weave on a rigid heddle loom. Students will warp their loom in class and begin to weave a scarf. They will work on the scarf at home then complete it in class. Students will begin a second project at home, with the third class for troubleshooting. Looms will be available to purchase or rent at 20% off; rental fee can be applied to purchase price. Sew Your First Shirt Class – You will make Sonya Phillip’s classic and simple pattern, Shirt no 1. This top is a great introduction to sewing garments and will cover cutting your pattern and using bias tape to finish your edge.

Mistake Fixing Workshop – Mistakes are a part of knitting, but you can learn how to fix them! Skill Building: Baby Booties + Socks – Have you always wanted to learn to make booties or socks? Have you wanted to shape your knitting but felt it was hard to figure out? This class features two, easy to finish, small patterns to help you find that success quickly. A pair of Mary Janes will help you understand the concept of increases, shaping and ways to keep track during a complex pattern. A pair of baby socks will help you learn how to knit in the round, how to use double pointed needles, and the structure of a sock. We will go over each one, step by step. Beginning Spinning Drop Spindle Class – Learn to spin on a Bare Bones spindle. We will learn about the history of spindles, Park and Draft, and spinning on spindles using really great fiber.
